We fell for Llamas at the Royal Cornwall Show when we met Julie and Tom Tripp’s Llamas.

We had been looking for animals to graze/browse (and grace!!) our fields, so we settled for Peanut, Harry, Truro, and Konstantine.

Peanut and Konstantine are half brothers as are Truro and Konstantine and they have given us lots of pleasure. Each has his own character and they get on well together with just the odd spat over food which is generally avoidable with a bit of management when rations are being issued!

In bad weather, particularly when it is very windy at night they harmoniously cush in their purpose built barn, No1 Llama Towers. This does lead to a great deal of clearing up but that’s all part of having Llamas and is good for the veggie garden!!
